Sitting where I am, I can see a lot of my books – most of which are on my TBR – and I can’t help but think that the dreaded TBR is a huge side-effect of being a book blogger. At this very moment, I have 138 books on my TBR and every week there seem to be some additions. Hence the reason (at least one reason) for my book ban.
Which brings me to this question; does book bogging result in the explosion of TBRs or do we blog in an attempt to diminish that list? Let me know what you think!

I know for certain that my TBR pile has shot up since I started blogging. I used to buy books as I needed a new one to read. Since i started reading the blogs and seeing all the fabulous books everyone else was reading, my TBR and wishlist have grown ridiculously large. It's that 'I want!' voice in my head that's done it lol.
I am putting a limit on my buying to one a week from now on else I'll never get through my mega pile.
I would say that it's the former more so than the latter. The more I blog, the more books I hear about and the more requests I get for reviews. I think it's a happy problem to have--and one that will probably (hopefully) never go away!
